Novello 2018


Type: Vino Novello

Alcohol content: 12,50 % Vol.

Grape varieties: Merlot 100%

Production area: Trevignano Romano, Lake Bracciano

Harvest: Early september

winemaking: Carbonic maceration; this consists of harvesting the grape bunches in small crates, so that the berries do not break, then placing them in closed vats under a carbon dioxide atmosphere. After 10 days, the intact grape bunches are pressed and separated from the skins, activating the classic alcoholic fermentation until almost all the sugars are transformed into alcohol.

Colour: Intense ruby red

Aroma: Expresses notes of ripe small red fruits, floral at the same time with notes of wild violet.

Taste: Of discreet softness, with good harmony and body, velvety and pleasant, with a harmonious finish.
